Herk Harvey, the director, thought that this would be very profitable as there were about 18,000 drive-in movie theaters in business during the 1960s. How the distributors broke their contract with Harvey when they fraudulently sold the movie to more than 100 TV stations in the U.S. then fled to Europe, and what happened afterward is told in my memoir.
